The President of the Balearic Parliament ,representing the Unio Mallorquina party,Maria Antonio Munar,has been called to testify in a court case in the Balearic Islands Supreme Court.It is alleged that she could be involved in urban corruption in the Can Domenge case.This particular case came to prominence when another company alleged that preference was given to another company even though they had offered a lower price.It was in connection with the sale of 52,000 square hectares of public land.
Spain has cornered the European debt market it seems.Almost one third of the debts(11 million) was placed by Spain.The debts now owed by Spain run until 2015 at an interest rate of 4.4%.
The cost of administering the State in Spain has risen by 33.39% for 2010.This is compared with 2005 when the Aznar government reduced the bill by 1,262 million euros..They moved the health service and basic education from the central government to the regions.As a result of that the transfer of capital from the national administration to the regions has gone up b y 33.72% since 2005.
