Alfaz del Pi Success

A young British girl,Sarah Thewlis, from Alfaz del Pi ,in Spain,has won a prestigious essay competition set by Oxford University.She recently discovered that she had won the St Peter’s College Oxford University Philosophy Essay Competition.She won the competition ahead of all of those who entered from the UK as well.She attends the European School inSan Juan,Alicante.She was full of praise for her tutors there and in particular her philosophy tutor at the school.

It appears that she had three choices in the competition and chose one which they had recently discussed in class.It was entitled “Are there any real objective moral principles”.Her answer was an emphatic”No” and she then went on to give her explanation for her answer and views.The prize for the competition was 250 pounds sterling.

Sarah has not only won this award,she is also a published writer and has been commissioned to write a few more books.She actually won another competition to get into “writing”.She won the publishers Libros competition Short Story competition.In fact when she goes to university it is English Literature that she wants to study.
