There was a sell out audience in Moraira last week at La Senirta .The “Wireless Years ” was the title of the concert and it focused on the “hits” of those days when we all tuned in to the radio.The concert was a blend of comedy and music by Barry Britten and Chris Allen.It truly did provide a trip down memory lane.
The audience comprised members of the U3A of Moraira,Teulada or Javea with their guests.It raised almost 1000 euros for the Costa Blanca Samaritans.Alongside all of that good work the duo who were performing on stage were confident enough to ask the audience for their preferences in the musical world of nostalgia and provided it without demur.There were also those memorable parts where everyone was taking part in the singing–a bit like the end of Mama Mia.Hopefully there will be repeat performances in the not too distant future.
