Benidorm on the Costa Blanca has been in the news for a number of reasons this last week.They are going to host a unique talent competition called “Benidorm Has Talent”and the preliminary rounds will take place on November 21 and 22 with the grand final on November 29.Prizes have been donated by local businesses .They include a Rolex watch,a flat screen TV( which will be auctioned at the event).The winner of the talent competition will receive 2000 euros and the runner up 750 euros.
One of the aims of the show is to raise monies for AECC ( Spanish association Against Cancer).The Euro Weekly,Benidorm Palace,Telitec and the Production Company Fly and Frog are all sponsoring the event.It is the first time such an event has come to the Valencia region and all budding local talent is being encouraged to attend the preliminary heats.They want to make this an annual event and to take the show to other parts of the Costa Blanca.
They are seeking out all types of talent from the professional to the amateur.Any type of act is welcome on the show,it is the talent that they are seeking out,people who have the potential to go further.
