There will soon be a court hearing in Elche for Beatriz BJ .She will be discovering the sentence of the court for the accusation against her of infanticide.
Last July the 24 year old gave bith to a little boy in her flat.It appears that she was alone at the time of the birth and cut the cord herself.The baby was alive and breathed voluntarily.
However the mother then placed the child in a plastic bag with the intent of killing the child.She then haemorrhaged and required urgent medical attention .She had to be taken to the Hospital de la Vega Baja where the doctors could tell that she had just given birth.They got in touch with the family of the young woman and also the authorities.They discovered the body of the baby in the flat.A post mortem showed that the child had suffered respiratory failure.
The young woman will hear her fate from the court quite soon.
