Being a firefighter is a very dangerous job and each year there are tragedies in the service.A Denia man was killed recently while fighting a fire in Albacete.He lost his life when a ceiling collapsed upon him when they were trying to extinguish a fire in a bakery.
This man worked for several years in Denia with his brother but several years ago he and his brother returned to Albacete to work in the Fire department.His former colleagues in Denia were shocked to hear the news of his death and many of these colleagues have travelled to pay their last respects at his funeral.
