At the beginning of November in Torrevieja on the Costa Blanca there was a particularly bad road accident.A 67 year old man eventually died after being crushed against a wall after a young man lost control of his car which eventually mounted thye pavement and pinned the Irishman against the wall.
That was bad enough but then the young man ran off and left the man to suffer his injuries and expect others to call the emergency services.The man was cut free and taken to Torrevieja hospital where doctors were to amputate his leg .Sadly there had been other serious trauma and the man died on the operating table.Police are now searching for nthe man who caused this to happen.
As with most accidents there is always a reason and accidents do happen.Taking responsibility for the accident is a very important part of the scenario and where this is not done then there are often things to hide such as alcohol or drug abuse.Compassion in these cases seems to go out through the window.
