Monday November 16 is the day when the swine flu vaccination vaccines will be available for some members of the public.The regional health authority has taken delivery of 450,000 doses .
In the Valencia region it is expected that over 1 million people will be vaccinated.Of these around 80,000 will be children between the ages of 6 months and 18 years.These children will need to be suffering from some other serious illness .Then there will be pregnant women ,workers in the health services ,emergency workers such as firemen and anyone between the ages of 18 and 60 who has a chronic illness.
Should people have any concerns about their health then a hotline has been set up for people to talk to someone about their symptoms.The number is 900 100 355.So far almost 2000 people have used the service.
The seasonal flu vaccination programme is almost over and almost a million people have been vaccinated so far in the region.The figure is 10% higher than last year.
