The population of the Spanish city Zaragoza has doubled over the last few years and yet the amount of water being used by the city is what it was 40 years ago.The local water board has explained that this is due to the fact that the water pipes of the city have been renovated which has put an end to leaks in the system.It could also be due to the fact that people are much more careful about their use of water because it is so expensive.There is also the environmental aspect where more people are concerned about the use of water in socity and they just wish to conserve it.Maybe it is a combination of all three.
