The murder of two parents in the Valencian town of Catarroja by their son,took place in September 2007.The Public Prosecutors Office is asking for a sentence of 30 years for the young man who butchered both of his parents.It appears that he got into an argument with his father late one evening and beat up his father to such an extent that he had multiple injuries.He then used a Japanese sword to kill him.
As though this wasn’t bad enough he went to collect his mother from a restaurant where she worked ,drove her to their home and then proceeded to attack and kill his mother also.He then stole valuables and money and went drinking with a mate until he was arrested by the police 24 hours later.

Parents are supposed to be people who bring up and care for their children.The children are supposed to love their parents.They may not “like” them when discipline is required but generally the good times outweigh the bad.Most people cannot imagine killing their parents and when it does happen is it caused because the parents have abused the child so badly that killing them is seen as the only way out or is it that the “child’ is just predisposed towards criminality?
