Campello’s Albayna II urbanisation has many residents who are living in fear because of 10 to 12 year old children who are terrorising them.These youngsters appear to be out of control of their parents and are vandalising both private and public property.As with all bullying these children are focusing on the weak who on this urbanisation are the elderly.
Parents have been approached for their help but nothing has happened .The residents feel that they even encourage their children with their anti-social behaviour.Most of these residents are too scared to report the issues to the police for fear of reprisals.One elderly lady did make an official complaint to the police and three boys were given a warning before a juvenile court It was quiet for a period of time but then their bad behaviour started up again and this time it was focused on the complainant.
All the residents want is to live a normal life without all of this hassle.It would be interesting to know if these youngsters are Spanish or British.It could be that these families,if British,have brought the “yob’ culture here with them to Spain.Let us hope that if they are British that they all go back to the UK.The Spanish police need to nip this sort of thing in the bud.
