In 2010 the Benidorm tourist office will be offering adventure sports packages for prospective visitors.They want to attract younger British people to the town and the Costa Blanca.This announcement was made at the end of the World Travel Market fair in London by the Benidorm Sports councillor.
It appears that the major tour operators are not able to offer such packages and so the council will use other companies that do offer such packages.The packages will include mountain walking,ravine climbing,hang gliding plus other sports which will all be arranged by local companies.
Companies such as Thompsons say that other countries outside the euro zone are attracting British tourists because they are cheaper.The rate of exchange is making all of Europe a more expensive option because of this.
