Recently Francis Marcos had to return to Spain from the expedition in the Himalayas where he was participating in Everest Quest.He has spent 35 days in a Zaragoza clinic after suffering frostbite to his toes.

He returned from the Himalayas on October 10 where he had climbed to 8,201 metres on Cho-Oyu with his other friends .He was suffering frostbite in three toes  on his left foot and also had an infection in his big toe.It took doctors several days to identify and treat these injuries..JHe had to undergo an operation to remove a bone from his big toe which had become infected.

He is still on crutches but is already thinking of his next expedition to the Himalayas.
