Rojales is a town on the Costa Blanca and the Rojales Pantomime Group have just performed their latest Christmas panto”Robinson Crusoe”The aim of the game was to raise money for charity and Caritas has benefited by 200 euros and Protection Civil have acquired 300 euros towards an ambulance chair to help patients on staircases.Rojales Town Hall have helped provide a venue for the entertainment and the group is hoping to raise more money in 2010.
Torrevieja provides more entertainment in the form of a singer -songwriter music contest in February.The Association Interculturate Iberica is a non-profit making organisation and it will hold this cultural event for artists who live in the Vega Baja.The performers compete with their own songs ,both music and lyrics.Auditions will take place throughout January for those who wish to enrol.The final competition will go on during the month of February once it is clear just how many participants there will be.
