A Novelda ( Alicante) man is facing 19 years in prison if the Alicante Public Prosecutor has his way.It is alleged that in January of this year the alleged killer met up with a 19 year old youth that he had known for many years.The youth supplied him with drugs and when they met the youth was wanting payment of 3000 euros.The man didn’t have the money but promised it later and they arranged a time and place.
In the meanwhile the alleged killer took two shotguns to a secluded spot and it is alleged that he hid them there.He then met up with the youth and they took a drive to the same secluded spot where the transfer of money was due to take place.The alleged killer is supposed to have left the car to urinate but instead he took a shotgun and shot the young man four times.
He then disposed of the body by hiding it and also disposed of the guns ,which have never been found.The car was abandoned not too far from the body.The case will come to court in several months time and the man who already has a record for drug related crime could get 19 years in prison and also be made to pay a heavy fine in compensation.There are lessons to be learned here for everyone that becoming involved in the selling and taking of drugs is a very dangerous business.
