In 2001 a young woman ,an ETA terrorist ,was blown up when she was handling a bomb.Her colleague fled from Torrevieja after the explosion.Among the wreckage of the apartment the police discovered titadyne explosive which had been used in a robbery in Grenoble in France.
The terrorist fled in his car which was later discovered in Navarra.The police arrested the man in Niort in France in 2002.When they searched his home in San Sebastian the police found 14 kilos of explosive,5 metres of fuse wire,detonators,pistols and several ETA magazines.
The evidence which was looked at by the courts were the fact that his fingerprints appeared in both flats,documentation in his name was present and an eyewitness puts him at the scene of the crime.
The high court in Madrid has sentenced him to nine and a half years in prison for possession of arms and weapons.
