The Spanish Catholic Church has labelled the new law on abortion as a crime.The present Spanish government is amending the law on abortion and naturally the Church is totally against abortion.However ,not only is it now regarded as a grave sin ,it is also labelled a crime.

The new law gives the right to abort a child ,to minors.The law has needed changing to enable it to get through parliament.Initially the minor had no need to inform a parent wheras now they do.Having said that ,the parents still have no right to intervene.

The Church has also threatened to refuse Holy Communion to those who have an abortion and also those who defend abortion,even if they vote for the new law in parliament.
