The unemployed of the Costa Blanca town of San Miguel de Salinas have formed an Unemployed Group and the town hall has granted them the use of a building to use as a collection centre for non-perishable goods,clothes and shoes .These items are required by unemployed people in the town to help them get through Christmas.

This is the state of affairs which exists in most towns across Spain and other countries in the world.The main breadwinner of a family loses a job and suddenly the savings are used up and there is nothing left.It is a horrible situation for people to be in and it has become more and more common.Consequently asking the general public to help out is a very Christian thing to do.
