A Dutch resident was murdered in Denia recently and now seven people have been arrested on burglary charges and two of those arrested are thought to have been involved in the murder.

The National Police believe that the accued,all of whom are from Eastern Europe ,are involved in several burglaries on homes in the Denia area.There have also been robberies and car thefts.

The murder of the Dutch resident took place in July last year.The man was discovered tied to his bed and suffocated.The police have also arrested a couple that they believe may have commissioned the murder in order to steal a large amount of money from the victim.

Some of the items which have been stolen from properties in the area are now on display in the National Police station in the town so that people can go and check and reclaim them.
