A judge in Benidorm on the Costa Blanca has released a woman,without bail,after she stabbed her partner in the heart.There was a restraining order on the man which he had broken.The woman had reported him twice for abuse but then retracted her statement.The woman´s passport has been taken away from her and she has to report to the court eachMonday morning.
In Alicante the Guardia Civil have arrested a 26 year old woman for taking out 21 loans which she had in the names of third parties but then paid the money into her own bank account.She is charged with fraud,document forgery and also assuming a false identity.The police became involved when a bank started to demand a loan back from someone who had never requested one in the first place.The bank then discovered 21 similar requests for loans and they haven´t ruled out that other people could be involved.
Alicante police have discovered a large scale network for the distribution of forged products throughout the Valencia region,Albacete and Murcia.Seven people have already been arrested,two Senegaleseand the rest are Moroccan.The items are mainly clothes and perfume to a value of 1.5 million euros.They are all charged with crimes against industrial property.
