Benidorm has been having its Gastronomy Week.The theme was naturally the Mediterranean as a place for all of the special meals that were prepared.Nineteen restaurants took part in the seven day event.
The Mayor opened the event and said that it was the first time that it had been organised in Benidorm.It is now planned to add it to the list of town events as an annual thing.It will complement all of the other tourist events planned by the town.
During the week there were many important visitors invited to taste the food being offered.The 19 restaurants taking part were of the highest calibre according to the Tourism Councillor.The quality of the meals being prepared was almost a foregone conclusion.
