Times are either hard for certain Alicante people or these people are just normal criminals.These criminals are also attempting to be good thespians too.It is a crime to defraud your insurance company and that is what these Alicante criminals attempted to do.

A man reported to the police that he had been mugged of a very expensive mobile phone and a gold chain.He was not able to give the police any details of the attack or descriptions of the assailants.In fact the police eventually found the phone in the changing room of a gym.They felt that the crime had never been committed.It then materialised that the man had intended to defraud his insurance company for 600 euros .

A few days later a woman reported that she had been the victim of a violent robbery and that the thief had escaped with just over 600 euros plus a mobile phone and a digital camera.The police became suspicious of the similarities in the two cases and discovered that this was also a totally fraudulent claim.
