Michelle Obama,the wife of the president of the United States of America visited Spain recently and while in the country she went to visit the Alhambra Palace in Granada.She has described the visit as “unforgettable”.
The Spanish holiday also included her daughter Sasha and they had their base for the holiday at a luxury hotel on the Costa del Sol.
During their stay the couple tasted local delicacies such as cold garlic soup,salmorejo and locally made cheeses and of course ham.
They also experienced a flamenco show.They even had the chance to participate in the dancing.In fact Mrs Obama has invited the group to the USA to perform at a later date.
The visit was very well covered by the media and was very good publicity for Spain and Spanish tourism.
