The sport facility in Moraira-Teulada is to have a 750,000 euro facelift.
The upgrade will create a state of the art facility for the area.The new complex will be called “Football Espai Teulada-Moraira” and it is being described as a socio-cultural and sports area.
There will be a full sized football pitch as well as a seven a side pitch which will have an all weather surface.There will be six changing rooms,a cafe,facilities for the disabled,a carpark and a green area.
The project has been started because there is a huge demand for sporting facilities. and what the area has is in a state of poor repair.
The aim is to have it completed by Christmas so that all residents and youngsters are able to enjoy it.
Funding has come from the State Fund for Employment and the Investment Plan in Productive Municipalities.
