The new commercial centre in Orihuela Costa on the Costa Blanca is called La Zenia Boulavard and it will open later in 2012.Last month a marketing director was appointed to promote the new centre which will house a number of well known stores such as Primark , Leroy Merlin and Decathlon.It is hoped that the centre will be opened officially before the summer even though the scheduled opening is September.

More than 2000 jobs will be created by the centre and already they are recruiting for bilingual staff. For those who are already bilingual the town hall in Playa Flamenca is collating CV´s.Those who are interested in applying need to hand them in to the International Residents Office.Orihuela also offers free Spanish lessons and for those who are not bilingual , showing an interest in learning Spanish would be a step forwards towards acquiring a job.
