El Niño is the name given to the lottery draw on the Three Kings celebrations in Spain.This year more than 840 million euros was won in prizes.This was more than usual as it was the anniversary of the 1812 Spanish constitution.
In Alicante province more than 51 million euros was won , while 140 million was spent on ticket sales.The winning ticket number was 71208 which gave 2 million per series of 10 tickets which were sold in Cadiz on the Costa de la Luz.
The second prize was ticket number 92225 and it gave a million euros per series of 10 tickets and was sold in Benidorm , Elche ,Pulpi , Almeria ,Ovieda ,Puerto de Pollenca ,Igualada , Barcelona and Hospitalet de Llobregat.There were also 12 other winning tickets which each received 1,400 euros a piece.
