The town council of Javea on the Costa Blanca is attempting to kick start the job market in the town.It has set up a task force in the town with business owners to discuss ways of creating employment.
There are 2000 people registered unemployed in Javea at the moment.Some have had their dole money stopped already.These are people in dire need of employment.
They are wanting to create a forum for traders , technicians , people who are involved in professional training and a variety of consultants to brainstorm their ideas about future plans which might lead to job creation.They will look at temporary employment plus permanent jobs.
On the panel will be three Javea business owners ,senior staff from CREAMA ,a Marina Alta recruitment agency , a women´s trade association , high school headteacher and employees from a variety of council departments.They are going to meet every 4 weeks at the Casa de Cultura.
