Water is a basic commodity that we all need and it ought to be as cheap as possible for humanity but in Pilar de la Horadada in the southern Alicante province on the Costa Blanca some residents are having to pay more for it.So the tap water , the meter rental and maintenance are all going to increase.
Fees and the charging system have all totally changed.This information was published in the weekly bulletin of Alicante province.
The prices have not been increased for those who use 0.6 cubic metres a month but there are no discounts for families who are in need, pensioners or families with more than three children.
The rental for the meter and the tax for the water meter maintenance will all be estimated on the size of the water meter pipe.Previously homes and shops paid 11.84 euros every three months and bars, restaurants and industrial premises paid 17.77 euros.Now all of that will change.It will increase bills dramatically according to the experts in this field.
