AMLA, The Association of Multiple Listing Agents was founded in May 2006 to introduce a US model multiple listing service to the Spanish Property Market. Multiple Listing has been somewhat mis-represented in Europe and there are many portals and advertising sites that claim to represent a MLS service.

Multiple Listing is a form of Agency contract between an Estate Agent and the Vendor (seller) of a property. Agents that enter into such a form of Agency contract are given the right by the seller to then list the vendors property on a designated service provider or Multiple Listing Service ( MLS).

MLS is NOT an agreement between Agents as this would entail the transferance of contractual rights by the vendor without their permission.

AMLA provides a MLS service to its members under an ‘Exclusive right to list’ Agreement.
