Los Millares is thought of as one of the most significant archaeological sites in Europe .
Now Torre Pacheco in Almeria is putting on an exhibition about the daily life of the people living in Los Millares during the Copper Age ( 2500-1700 BC ).
The exhibition has a full sized model of one of the homes that they are thought to have lived in plus artifacts which have been found in the area .
The population of the area at this time was thought to consist of farmers mainly with hunters , craftsmen and merchants .
A mother and her daughter were among five people who were arrested in Almeria City recently for trafficking in drugs .
The two were thought to have been selling hashish in the playground of a local school .
The homes of all of those arrested have been searched and small quantities of drugs and money were discovered .
One of the men arrested has been caught before on 9 different occasions for similar offences .
A Senegalese man was murdered last weekend and the killing sparked rioting in Roquetas de Mar which lasted for two nights and left behind a scene of unpleasant damage , injuries and arrests .
The young man is believed to have been trying to stop a fight when he was stabbed . The victim was possibly arguing with the perpetrator over a drug related issue .
The suspected murderer , who is known to the police , fled the scene leaving the man to die .
The riots began when the victims family became angry about what happened and firebombed the alleged murderers flat block .
There has been a heavy police presence in the area this week , with police dispersing groups of more than 10 people .

During the past seven years the population of the Province of Malaga has incresed by almost 250,000 people .
The BBVA has been doing a demographic study of the last century and has shown that Malaga has the highest poulation density in the region with 208 people per square kilometre , which is double the national figure .
There are big differences between municipalities with Fuengirola having the highest population density with more than 6000 people per square kilometre .This means that 37 % of those who live in Malaga Province , live there .
Almeria tops the town with the highest level of immigrants , with 18 % of the population being immigrants , while in Malaga it is 17 %.

Creamfields is a well known festival in the UK and has been running for 10 years .
There is a parallel Creamfields in Spain and it has now been running for 5 years .
In 2008 it is going to be held in Almeria and is moving to a new and bigger location at Playa de Guardias de Viejas , El Ejido.

This law wants to reclaim coastal land and to demolish properties which have been built within a hundred metres of the shoreline.
Property owners are given 30 years and possibly an extension of another 30 years to vacate their property before it is expropriated and demolished .
These property owners are now threatening the government with non -payment of their mortgages until they find a solution to the problem .
The hope is that then the banks and credit companies will also pressurise the government .
By not paying their mortgages they could lose their homes , but their argument is that they are going to lose it anyway .
In the Valencian region alone more than 50,000 people could stop paying , a figure which hits 500,000 nationwide.
This is a situation which is not going to go away and it is not just an idle threat says the president of the national platform of coastal law victims .
